Location

  • We are seeking a fulltime, 40hour Patient Services Representative to support our OB/GYN team onsite Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Wentworth Health Partners OB/GYN & Infertility practice is located at 15 Old Rollinsford Road, Suite 102, Dover, NH 03820.

Role Overview

  • Our Patient Service Representatives play an integral part in the operations of our communitybased physician practices. Dedicated to administrative support, these Representatives serve as the gatekeepers of our practices and ensure that teams are delivering the highest quality experience that exceeds our patients' expectations.
  • We are looking for wellrounded customer service professionals who can multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a highvolume outpatient setting
  • Leading up to the patient visit, Patient Service Representatives schedule all appointments.
  • During the patient's visit, the focus is checkin, which includes greeting patients, answering all of their questions, collecting copayments, and assisting with any previsit paperwork/forms.
  • At the conclusion of the visit, during checkout, Patient Service Representatives are tasked with the completion of forms and scheduling followup appointments, tests, and/or procedures.
  • Other duties include fielding all incoming telephone calls and triaging appropriately, performing referral/diagnostic/lab orders processing duties, monitoring patient flow and waiting room activity, and providing general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 24 years' experience in healthcare or customer service, preferably in a medical office setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Strong computer skills
