Description

The Farm Support and Care manager will be responsible for a wide range of periodic tasks that include cleaning event barn, guest unit and spaces, clearing/maintaining healthy vegetation on the property, watering plants/vegetables, feeding farm animals, cleaning animal living quarters, maintaining and enhancing organic composting systems, and occasional light painting, fence and facility repair.

Typical work can be completed in a 1-2 hour shift. 1 to 2 shifts are needed per week depending on farm needs and your availability. Time of day work occurs can be flexible.

Depending on experience and interest, this job could grow to include event management, and property management activities.


Experience desired:

  • Cleaning and beautifying indoor and outdoor guest spaces
  • Vegetation and/or property maintenance with organic methods
  • Animal care (pigs, chickens, horses)
  • Light repair or handyman experience
This is a great opportunity for a local student due to proximity to Sonoma State University and flexible schedule. Because it is part-time and flexible, it allow for other work or school activities.
