An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
Program Executive to join our
Naval Services organization in
Walpole .

We are looking for someone that will be responsible for leading a program team to deliver our contract obligations within the North America region.

The Program Executive role is central to the success of the Naval business, providing leadership, influencing business strategy and providing focused program direction.

Key Accountabilities

  • Contract and financial accountability for the assigned program, including supporting development activities, product supply and fulfilling contractual deliverables requirements.
  • Lead a team of program professionals with responsibility for Service 'through life' activities. This includes but is not limited to Contractual Reporting, Program Delivery, and Customer Relationship Management
  • Primary customer interface for the assigned program including leadership on addressing issues, customer concerns and implementing associated solutions
  • Provide leadership to collaborative efforts with various supporting functions and teams to deliver our Customer obligations.
  • Application of key program management processes and principles such as work breakdown structure definition, customer/contract requirements and deliverables, risk management, resource planning and fiscal and schedule management and reporting.
  • Utilizing the defined program governance structure, determine program performance against agreed KPI's in line with the Services scorecard.
  • Ensure that the continuous improvement mindset is embedded within the team to challenge "business as usual" and adopt agile, lowcost principles.

Basic Requirements:


  • An Associate's degree with 10+ years of experience OR;
  • A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience OR;
  • A Master's degree with 6+ years of experience OR,
  • JD/PHD with 3+ years of experience.
OR,

  • In lieu of a degree, 12+ years of experience
  • To be eligible for consideration, you must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident

Preferred Requirements:


  • Experience dealing with US Navy and US Coastguard organisations (e.g. NAVSEA, NAVSUP) and US Shipyards.
  • Experience of working with Naval products.
  • At least 5 years' experience in the governance and management of programs with increasing levels of complexity.
  • Experience in identifying and setting strategic direction.
  • Demonstrated team leadership with great interpersonal skills and with the ability to communicate across a range of levels, both internally and externally
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, adversity and overcome challenges in a demanding environment

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location.

It's a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement.
