    SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
    ANSER is seeking a Management Analyst to support the China Brief Action Group. This position is located in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (OUSD(P)).

    The China Brief Action Group will provide administrative and logistical support to the Secretary of Defense China Brief and its supporting fora – the China Brief Executive Council (CBEC) and the China Brief Management Group (CBMG).Candidates will provide meeting management, meeting execution, and senior leader stakeholder engagement and coordination.

    The position requires familiarity with the Pentagon, DoD organization/structure, and senior leader decision-making; the ability to work in fluid environments with evolving direction; and experience interfacing with DoD senior leaders.

    In support of China Brief Action Group, specific tasks include:
    Managing the China Brief CalendarTracking SecDef tasks related to the China BriefMeeting support for the CBEC and CBMG (Small & Large Group)


    Booking conference roomsSVTC tech support to connect outstationsTracking and managing RSVPs & attendanceCoordinating agendas, read-aheads, and meeting minutesSharePoint site maintenance access and calendarCapturing, coordinating, and disseminating meeting summary of conclusionsUsing tools and portals that link and integrate authoritative data sources for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on senior decision making.

    Stakeholder coordination with/between USDP, DJS, JSJ5, and ASD(IPSA)General support to SecDef, USDP, and ASD(IPSA) pre-meeting prep sessionsSKILLS &


    EXPERIENCE:

    Required:
    TS/SCI clearance required at date of hireBachelor's Degree in relevant field2-5 years Pentagon experience at the OSD, Joint Staff, or Service level

    Preferred:
    Experience with DoD governance forums, meeting management and execution, and senior leader stakeholder engagement.
    Professionalism, tact, and experience working with senior DoD leadership.
    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
    Energetic and the capability to work in a fast-paced team environment, adapt to rapidly changing requirements, and multi-task capabilities.

    Ability to produce quality work independently or in a group setting, provide solutions to customer issues, and solve problems quickly.

    High level of proficiency of the English language, both written and oral.
    Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
