Aramark?s Vice President, Internal Communications, reports to the Senior Vice President, Strategic Communications and Public Affairs, and works with others on that team, and across Aramark, to support the company?s business strategy and functional initiatives through a variety of internal communications channels.

This role requires experience and skills across diverse disciplines, including managing a team, working with communications colleagues to develop an internal communications strategy, project management, senior level communications ? writing and editing (speeches, talking points, presentations), management of video production, digital work, planning and coordination of live events, change communications, and research and measurement.


Essential Functions:


  • Creates, develops, and executes integrated communications plans, including strategy, messaging, tactics, and measurement to engage employees, from the Csuite to the front line, and inspire them to deliver on Aramark?s business priorities.
  • Develops key messages, themes, and campaigns tailored to specific audiences while leveraging appropriate channels to maximize impact.
  • Identifies, writes, and edits a diverse range of sophisticated executivelevel and enterprisewide communications, including speeches, talking points, correspondence, and corporate news.
  • Serves as a key business partner to Human Resources, the ESG and DEI teams (for both internal and external communications, Investor Relations, and other corporate business leads to communicate important news, information, and policies to all employees.
  • Provides guidance and coordination among key internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute strategic events for targeted audiences at all levels of the organization.
  • Works with department colleagues and other internal/external business communicators and corporate functions to ensure alignment on messaging, timing, and proper execution to drive a consistent and cohesive narrative across all internal audiences.
  • Develops communicationsrelated policies and collaborates with others outside the department to formulate and distribute theirs, as needed.
  • Provides strategic counsel and develops content for the executive leadership team to ensure alignment on priorities, messaging, and key tactics.
  • Develops and monitors communications metrics to measure the reach and impact of communications efforts. Identifies or creates employee feedback channels for use in future planning.
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of business priorities and operations and how to connect them to the corporate strategy, brand, and reputation.
  • Networks and collaborates effectively with other members of the Corporate Communications team and builds effective relationships at various levels throughout the organization.
  • Consistently models Aramark?s values, including a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of corporate communications experience, primarily in employee engagement/internal communications and change management.
  • Experienced people leader and talent developer with a track record of managing engaged and effective teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, along with knowledge of emerging communications trends and technologies.
  • Actionoriented mindset and ability to create and execute strategic and tactical plans that deliver results.
  • Experience leading teams with a variety of communications vehicles, including social media, print, visual, digital, and facetoface communications, and how to use them effectively in disseminating information and direction to employees.
  • Ability to be flexible and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects with a sense of urgency.
  • A passion to serve a company and its team members.
  • Ability to identify, build, and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Critical thinker who can solve problems while working collaboratively throughout the organization.
  • Proficiency in proofreading, editing, graphics management, and digital communications technologies.
  • Ability to work with highly confidential materials across a wide spectrum of constituencies.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or business related field.
