    Description

    Quality Control Manager

    The Construction Quality Control Manager is in charge of managing and carrying out the daily QC duties for specific projects to ensure they adhere to the minimum standards. This role involves overseeing and reviewing all documentation and physical inspections, collaborating with internal and external team members to deliver a top-notch result. Reporting directly to the Project Manager and VP of Construction, this position is based in Baltimore, MD, working on projects nationwide.

    • Essential Functions:
    • Minimum of 5-10 years of construction experience in quality control
    • In-depth knowledge of contracts, subcontracts, plans, and specifications
    • Maintain project submittal log and other quality control reports
    • Review shop drawings for compliance with project specifications
    • Conduct weekly QC meetings and provide detailed minutes
    • Generate daily QC reports to ensure construction adherence
    • Coordinate testing and commissioning of building systems
    • Conduct quality control testing and inspection per contract requirements
    • Preparatory, initial, and follow-up meetings for work quality
    • Verify materials compliance for project use
    • Qualifications:
    • 5-10 years' construction experience with a general contractor
    • Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and techniques
    • High school diploma with QC experience and certifications
    • US Army Corps of Engineers Certifications
    • Proficient in construction-related computer software
    • OSHA 30-hour certification, EM 385 knowledge, CPR/First Aid certified
    • Clear communication, good judgment, ability to work under pressure
    • Comfort with remote work and travel to project locations
