Project Description


RIVA is providing IT Services and Support to their customer's CIO office, Project Management Office, Network Infrastructure Section, Service Desk Section, and the customer user community.

The CIO's office manages all aspects of the customer's branch sections from projects to documentation and policies. The Project Management Office provides a framework, tools, and staff to manage projects and initiatives. The Network Infrastructure Section provides IT infrastructure support, including networking/firewalls, backups, data center management, and operating system management.

The Service Desk Section provides hands-on troubleshooting and user support for RIVA's customer users, including support for laptops, desktops, peripherals, smartphones, operating systems, and software.


Position Description
We are seeking a skilled
AV Technician with expertise in audio and visual productions. The AV Technician will set up, operate, maintain, and repair sound and video equipment for use in customer events.

To be successful as an AV Technician, you should have experience transporting, assembling, operating, and repairing equipment used for multimedia production.

A great audio visual technician is creative, flexible, and detail-oriented, with good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

AV Technical

  • Provide audio and visual expertise to ensure a highquality experience for RIVA's customer events and largescale meetings, ensuring all connected systems operate at peak performance, ability to troubleshoot and adjust the systems as required, and conduct objective analysis to spot issues and eliminate them before an event. This includes supporting on site meetings.

Meeting Management and Support

  • Work with RIVA and RIVA's customer stakeholders on to prepare, plan, and execute large scale events as well as close out any post event action items.
  • Provide specialized desktop support for presentations, meetings, and other audio/visual needs, focusing on VIP/Executivelevel clients.
  • Assist with research and analysis of new technologies with an emphasis on meeting support and presentation tools

Requirements:


  • A Bachelor's degree in audio visual technology or a related field and 5+ years of experience in audio and visual productions.
  • Indepth working knowledge of camera and lighting techniques.
  • Strong working knowledge of audiovisual editing equipment and software.
  • Excellent computer and troubleshooting skills.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and flexibility.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
