Research Lab Tech II (Razulis)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Completes data management tasks requiring experience with computers and database management software
- Orients, trains and oversees new/ junior research assistant
- Generate graphs and data plots for meetings, grants and publications
- Contribute to the development and assembly of investigator abstracts, posters and slide presentations
- Analytical skills and ability to resolve basic tech issues
- Ability to interpret data and results
- Demonstrate competence in research techniques and methodologies
- Works independently under close supervision
- Completes basic regulatory and administrative tasks including COMS, IACUC and other IRB submissions
- Maintains equip, supply inventory and materials
- Order supplies and materials
- Maintain animal inventories
- Conduct experiments under supervision
- Strong quantitative and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors' degree and 1 year of postbachelor's research experience required.
- 12 years related experience preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Lab setting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possible lifting of 10 to 20 lbs., depending on nature of chosen project(s).
