Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Home Inspection Assistant to join our team.

As a Home Inspection Assistant, you will work alongside experienced inspectors to assess residential properties, identify potential issues, and compile detailed reports for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting comprehensive inspections of residential properties, including interior and exterior areas, to evaluate their overall condition
• Inspect various systems and components of the home, such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and structural elements
• Collect data and document findings during inspections using specialized software
• Identify any defects, safety hazards or conditions in accordance with industry standards
• Provide detailed reports to clients outlining inspection findings and recommendations for repairs or further evaluation
• Communicate with homeowners, real estate agents, and contractors to address any concerns or questions regarding the inspection process

Job requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training in home inspection is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document observations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, navigate tight spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
