The York County Solid Waste Authority has an immediate opening for an experienced
Administrative Assistant in our York, PA location.
Our ideal applicant will possess a minimum of 2+ years relevant work experience in an office setting plus a high school education.
This position will provide administrative support for the Authority staff, administer employee insurance benefits, purchase office supplies, manage the electronic filing system, provide clerical support including document preparation and mail distribution and assist with receptionist duties.
Other responsibilities include:
facilitate maintenance of office equipment, maintain inventory of office supplies, and some basic HR responsibilities.
This position will also cross-train at the scalehouse to perform service on an as-needed basis, including directing vehicles, administering cash sales, preparing daily deposits, and preparing daily reports.
Established in 1971, The York County Solid Waste Authority was created to ensure the adequate and proper disposal of all municipal and solid waste generated in York County.
