Duties:


  • Responds to U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC) inquiries and documents in the approved automated system within the mandated time frame.
  • Participates in organizational inspection program, staff assistance visits, site visits and other inspection activities.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of administrative procedures.
  • Reviews and validates medical and educational enrollment information submitted by outlying MTFs returning inaccurate packets for correction using an approved automated system.

  • You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • A preplacement medical examination is required.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required occasionally.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) developing deadlines, projects, and work to be accomplished; 2) reviews and validates medical and educational enrollment packets for accuracy; 3) knowledge in regulations, procedures and processes governing medical administrative functions; AND 4) performing administrative program functions to include electronic mail, memoranda, reports, and directives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Ph.

D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration.


OR

Combination of Education and Experience:

A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.

To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.

Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18.

Add the two percentages.
