Sell, deliver and account for products in the dining room in a manner consistent with the SMI standards.

These tasks are to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction.

Personal and financial accountability
Proper and friendly service when in contact with all guests
Control costs and waste
Be proactive by assisting coworkers
Be familiar with all aspects and services of Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa
Maintain extensive knowledge of menu, food preparation techniques
Maintain extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, beer
Maintain cleanliness of restaurant and service stations
Serve from the cheese cart and maintain extensive knowledge of cheeses
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Able to speak, read, and write English at advanced level to facilitate communications.
One to two years fine dining experience preferred.
Able to stand and be mobile for up to 4 hours.
Able to lift, bend and stoop to perform various tasks.
Able to lift frequently and carry bus trays and other objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Able to move quickly and efficiently.

Hourly rate of $18.00
