Job Duties & Responsibilities:

DUTIES:
_
- Under general supervision, preplans and executes or performs environmental and radiological testing and evaluation of radiological conditions associated with plant operations. Maintains equipment associated with Radiation Protection operations. Performs minor and household maintenance on department operated systems.
- Performs chemistry work associated with chemistry and radiochemistry operations and systems consistent with training in the common area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must meet the Company's "General Requirements", and, in addition: Must successfully complete the Nuclear Technician - Radiation Protection Modular Training Course.
Must demonstrate:
a. The ability to follow detailed instructions and carry out complex assignments. b. An aptitude for mechanical and technical work. c. Keen faculties of observation. d. Oral and written communications skills necessary for performance of the work.
- Must have successfully completed the appropriate Pre Employment Tests except that an employee hired prior to May 1, 1977 who has or obtains a high school diploma or its equivalent does not have to complete the Pre Employment Tests.
- Must be able to qualify for an auto driver's license to operate vehicles in the State of New Jersey.
