Description

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as an experienced
Marine Construction Laborer in the Metro NYC area.


In this role, you will assist with various construction projects related to marine infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to, carrying and moving heavy equipment and materials, digging and grading of trenches, setting up and dismantling of scaffolding, and assisting in the assembly and installation of various marine structures.


This is a part-time position, requiring a commitment of a minimum of 30 hours per week possible for Full-time. The schedule may include weekdays and weekends, and occasional evening hours depending on the project requirements.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of marine infrastructure such as docks, piers, and seawalls.
  • Carry and move heavy equipment and materials around the job site.
  • Dig and grade trenches and excavations using hand tools and heavy machinery.
  • Assist in setting up and dismantling of scaffolding and other temporary structures.
  • Perform general labor tasks such as cleaning up job sites, organizing materials, and loading and unloading trucks.
  • Follow all safety regulations and procedures on the job site.

Requirements:

3+ years prior experience in construction or labor work

  • 12 years of Marine Construction
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Must be willing to travel around NYC metro area.
  • TWIC card required or must acquire within 60 days of hire.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor tasks in a marine environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as required by project needs.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
