United Exchange Corporation is an established and fast-growing distributor of consumer packaged goods in food and nonfood categories. UEC is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk reporting to Controller.


Essential Functions:

• Researches and solves payment discrepancies and file claims on chargeback
• Make timely followup on payments in accordance with payment due dates
• Make daily deposit and process credit card payments as needed
• Makes adjustments to accounts as needed.
• Set up direct deposit/ACH process as needed
• Set up and maintain customer accounts in accounting system
• Process daily billing to customers

- assist in month end closing process

Qualifications:_

• 13 years experience in accounts receivable
• Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts receivable clerk or Accounts payable clerk
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
• Competency in MS Office, data bases and accounting software
• Handson experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers
• Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
• Data entry and word processing skills
• Well organized
• Handson experiences with Netsuite ERP or equivalents a plus

Pay:
$ $26.00 per hour

Experience:

• Collections and/or chargebacks: 3 years (required)
