- Participate in the planning and execution of administrative operation for the Executive Director of LSUASC.
- Manages the calendar, appointments, and meetings of Executive Director; acts as the liaison and point of contact.
- Identify and recommend process improvements for administrative procedures and make evaluative judgments in implementing changes. Assist in the resolution of complex, highly sensitive, and confidential administrative matters.
- Reviews documents for Executive Director.
- Attends meetings or committees as directed by Executive Director.
- Analyzes requirements and plans for projects, initiatives, or events of varying scope.
- Provides technical information regarding administrative procedures, services, or programs.
- Prepares administrative reports and project summaries in support of the Executive Director.
- Coordinates meetings, seminars, and other special events and may provide on-site support.
- May be tasked with information coordination to meet compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other agency reporting requirements.
- Coordinates travel arrangements, prepares itineraries, and assists with travel expense reports.
- May work with team to procure items and complete expense reports monthly.
- Monitors compliance with policies and procedures.
- Assists with cross-training staff in university policies related to travel, purchasing, and export
- control.
- Prepares required compliance reports, summaries, and communications.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Three years related experience.
- Additional education/experience may be used as a substitution for the minimum requirements: HS Diploma or GED and seven years of related experience, OR Associates degree and five years of related experience, OR Master's Degree and one year of related experience
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Advanced organizational planning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision (self-motivated).

PURPOSE
The Administrative Coordinator II, under general supervision and working in direct administrative support of the Executive Director, provides assistance, exercises discretion, and independent judgement in all organizational needs in research, innovation, and advancement of UAS technologies in the Lone Star UAS Center of Excellence and Innovation. Functions as a high-level college liaison to customers, maintains interactions with high-ranking officials within and outside of the University, participates in planning and execution of front-office administrative operations in a fast-paced environment.
