Description:
Alcal Specialty Contracting, Inc is looking for a Commercial Estimator to join our Roofing & Waterproofing division in Fremont, CA.
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Salary
LOCATION: Fremont, CA
WAGE SCALE: $90,000-$110,000
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to :
+ Preparing and submitting bids
+ Performing Take-Offs and interpreting plans
+ Proactively meeting with new and potential customers to generate leads
+ Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
+ Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
+ Minimum 5 years roofing estimating experience; or equivalent years of education; or combination of work experience and education
+ Must be able to read, interpret and accurately take-off construction drawings and specifications
+ Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to operate a variety of office equipment
+ Valid CA Drivers License
