Essential Functions:


The Data Visualization Specialist will play a key role in transforming complex data into visually compelling and actionable insights to support evidence-based decision-making within the judiciary.

The incumbent will report to the Manager, Data Governance, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing interactive data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that effectively communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders.


Education:

Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited college or university.


Experience:


Three (3) years of experience working in data visualization, dashboard development, and user interface design, preferably in a judicial, legal, or government context.


Preferred:


Previous work experience in data visualization software tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or , with a strong portfolio demonstrating visualization design and development skills.

A Bachelor?s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Design, Statistics, or a related field.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of data manipulation, data analysis, and data visualization techniques.

Knowledge of data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or

Skill in programming languages and software such as SQL, Python, R, or SPSS for data manipulation and analysis.

Skill in design aesthetic and understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and information hierarchy.

Ability to analyze data sets, identify trends, and report key insights that can be communicated effectively though visualizations.

Ability to analyze data quality and accuracy and helping to ensure valid data reporting.

Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for data visualizations.


Ability to communicate and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and technical information to diverse audiences.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and translate user requirements into actionable design solutions.

Strong time management skills.
