- Active Secret Clearance
- 4 years of experience with programming and software development in multiple layers in the software stack (UI, web or micro services, database, search).
- Experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
- Experience with the development of RESTFul Web Services
- Experience Developing in the AWS Cloud Environment
- Experience with the AWS API
- Experience with Postgres and Oracle Databases

Jacobs is searching for a Mid Full Stack Developer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. You will be working in Department of Justice organization that's mission is to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insights. The entire section works to provide the entire enterprise with tools and applications to assist with operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization tools. The section works closely with the entire enterprise to ensure its applications and tools meet or exceed the needs of the mission.
The Full Stack Developer Mid position is a part of a team that designs and delivers on premises and cloud-based applications. In addition to standard development, the team also has a focus on automating tasks utilizing a fully implemented CI/CD pipeline. The team utilizes agile methodologies to plan projects and tasks and break them down into 2-week sprints. The team is made up of cloud engineers and developers working closely together to complete projects for the customer. We are looking for developers that want to implement and learn cutting-edge cloud technologies and services to support our customer and their multiple national security missions. The developer should have extensive Java development experience with significant experience in front-end design.
This is an exciting opportunity for cleared talent with a Secret clearance to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Estimated time to complete the clearance sponsorship process is approximately 12-15 months. Once the Top Secret clearance is fully adjudicated and a position is available, the candidate will be eligible to work on the program.
