    Description

    Circuit Design Engineer:
    Huntsville, AL Client seeks Electrical Engineers to support our rapidly growing engineering work for the Missile Defense Agency's Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) element of the Ballistic Defense System (BMD)
    Engineering efforts include constructing complex electrical component design solutions
    We have openings for Mid and Senior level individual contributors
    The work is performed on-site in Huntsville, AL
    Candidates must be comfortable working a 9-80 schedule

    Duties:

    Support senior Electrical Engineers and leaders with responsibilities that include supporting the development and defense of impact assessments, vetting design solutions through program boards/reviews, participating in proof-of-concept activities, and adhering to program procedures.

    Active participation in team scrum meetings and internal/external demos and documenting progress on team dashboards
    Prepares and presents electrical engineering materials for Requirements and Design Reviews
    Applies electrical engineering principles to adapt or improve previous successful designs
    Perform qualification testing, characterization testing, troubleshooting, and test data review of completed designs Perform data analysis to identify trends that may indicate out of tolerance or degraded part performance and testing to characterize off-nominal behavior of components

    Job Qualifications:
    Must hold an Active DoD Secret Level Clearance or higher
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
    Experience with circuit design, signal monitoring, circuit power, and fault isolation

    Professional experience with the design, test, and/or integration and deployment of electrical components, electrical ground support equipment (EGSE), or subsystems Possess an understanding and application of company electrical engineering technical standards; demonstrated electrical component design experience and impact assessment/DAR development exposure.

    Able to interpret and develop electrical schematics.
    Experience with requirements-driven hardware design and circuitry design Experience with analog/digital circuit design, printed circuit board design and layout using ECAD tools

    Job Qualifications:
    Experience using analytical software tools (i.e., MATLAB and/or Python) to analyze and reduce data to identify key characteristics and trends
    LabVIEW programming and experience with National Instruments (NI) hardware and software products
    Experience in Siemens Xpedition
    Familiarity with MIL-STD-1901A, MIL-STD-882, EWR-127, RCC 319, RCC 3
