    Description


    Habitat America, is a DC, MD, VA based property management company, seeking a Outreach Marketing Associate This fun, fast paced, position allows you to network and utilize your creativity on a daily basis This position requires a lot of driving to assist at various properties within our property portfolio.

    Valid drivers license is required for consideration of this position.

    Phone interviews will begin immediatelyAssignments could extend to areas in MD, DC and VA.Candidates must have excellent customer service and communication skills to be considered for the position.

    2+ years of prior marketing experience is preferred.

    Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations and businesses in the areas of our propertiesPartner with the property leasing staff to distribute promotional materials and attract prospects and increase trafficIdentifies the appropriate locations for distribution of promotional advertisement and materialsAct as a liaison between local business and on-site staffAttend promotional events for the property including but not limited to: on-site at the property, housing fairs, career fairs or competitor eventsRepresent and promote assigned properties at various local eventsAttend various events and meetings in order to network and brand propertyAssist with the coordination of outreach marketing plansDetermine strategic placement, and makes presentation of information appealing for outreach purposesMaintain an excellent customer service relationshipsUtilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property trafficMaintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, and assist with other computer data entry as necessaryContribute to the general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas and model as neededQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredThis position includes extensive daily driving requirements
    • Reliable transportation requiredAbility to read and write English fluently
    • Bi lingual is a plusAbility to create excitement in prospectsOutreach marketing or outside sales experience preferredProficient in the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point.
    Computer literacy requiredMust be flexible regarding hours worked and willing to assist with community events that may occur at night or on weekendsMust be able to work in a fast paced work environmentMust be able to lift 25 lbs
