    Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Associate with desire for a broad private equity fund administration responsibilities.

    • Broad responsibilities – oversight of transaction activity, leading quarterly close process, supporting capital calls and distributions, analysis of capital account allocations and investor provisioning, treasury responsibilities include – wire transfers, diligently facilitating fund investment activity and distribution of proceeds to investors, contributing toward preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP for assigned partnerships, assisting with training and overseeing interns and other ad hoc projects including credit facility agreement monitoring.
    • The company invests in their employees and provides the resources for the Fund Administration, Accounting & Finance teams to stay up-to-date on new regulations, banking rules, new regulatory filings, international finance changes, CPE credits and such.
    • The group is responsible for operations (accounting, reporting and treasury) of the 100+ private equity funds managed by the firm.
    • There is cross-functional interaction with Portfolio Operations, Management Company Finance, Compliance, Investor Relations & Deal Teams.
    • The team values process improvement & optimization ideas
    • Hybrid Schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days work from home) – set in stone across the company, fyi. However, there is plenty of flexibility as needed for occasional situations that required additional work from home. The company also offers 4 weeks of fully remote work each year, (2 weeks at end of summer, and 2 weeks during the holidays at end of December) thus allowing employees to travel and work remotely without using up PTO during those weeks.

    Qualifications:

    1. 3 + years of relevant experience with fund administration and or private equity fund accounting, or external audit on alternative investments clients
    2. Bachelor's Degree – Required
    3. Aptitude for learning new systems / desire to work on process improvement projects. Knowledge of Investran or Geneva are a big plus, as well as ability to navigate treasury workstations.
    4. Excellent communication & professional polish. Desire & ability to interact with all levels of the organization is essential.
