"We provide services for approximately 78,000 citizens in Wellington, CO. We are currently seeking a
Guardian (m/f/d) in the field of youth development to join our team as soon as possible.


The position is part-time and permanent, with 19.50 hours per week, and is classified according to the provisions of the collective agreement for the public service in pay group S 12 TVöD-SuE.


Responsibilities:
- _Assuming and independently managing guardianships and custodianships (appointed under § 55 SGB VIII) based on legal regulations (BGB, SGB VIII, and FamFG)_
- _Exercising custody or parts of custody for children and adolescents (wards)_
- _Representing and safeguarding the interests of the wards_
- _Handling all necessary legal transactions and administrative matters related to guardianship or custodianship_
- _Maintaining regular personal contact with the children or adolescents (wards), their families, and professionals in their social environment_
- _Independently representing the wards in family court proceedings, initiating court measures, and providing regular reports_
- _Collaborating with other professionals and institutions in youth and disability services, social welfare, as well as health and education_
- _Enforcing inheritance and damages claims, managing assets_
- _Maintaining statistical data_
- _Networking_


Requirements:
- _A degree in social work, social pedagogy, or childhood
