    About the Role of Director, Program Manager at USAA:

    • Lead and manage resources for efficient program or work effort(s) management.
    • Oversee departmental programs by mentoring and directing teams of project managers.
    • Assign individual program/project manager responsibilities and resolve integration issues.
    • Participate in work effort closure activities to determine business impact realization.
    • Provide consultation to program executives and senior management for operational improvements.
    • Build and lead a team through recruiting, development, and managerial activities.
    • Identify, measure, and control risks associated with business activities.

    Requirements for the Role:

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Minimum 8 years' project/program management experience.
    • Minimum 3 years' team lead or management experience.
    • Experience with Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
    • Advanced understanding of risk management policies and procedures.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of program management methodology.
    • Experience in change management methodology.
    • Experience in highly complex regulatory matters.
    • Advanced knowledge of issues management process.
    • Ability to champion a culture of member service, process excellence, and risk management.
    • Military experience is a plus.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    Compensation is based on experience and market data. Pay incentives are available based on performance.
