Yarde Metals is looking to hire a
receiving/shipping processor to join our office team in Southington, CT A
receiving/shipping processor is responsible for providing data entry and clerical support to warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Process material received and shipped in computer by entering specific data (quantities, dimensions, size, alloy, heat numbers) from packing slips and work orders.
Research traceability of material and modify system records as needed.
Review shipping reports and create packing slips.
Scan material certification reports.
Confer with other departments on inventory and conformance questions.
Contact mills to obtain material test reports.
Match and distribute paperwork and print inventory tags.
Assist internal and external customers.
Complete additional duties, tasks, and projects as instructed by manager.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to communicate, read, write, and understand English
Must be able to accurately and efficiently enter data into system from source documents
Ability to problem solve and perform basic math functions
Resourceful, analytical, and ability to problem solve
Organized and detailoriented
Experience using MetalTraq ERP a plus
