What You'll Do

As the Operations Manager at Veritas Prep High School, you'll be an integral part of the School Operations Team, playing a central role in ensuring the school implements effective and orderly daily school systems and procedures.

You'll also assist with planning and executing family and staff events, student assessments and testing, technology implementation, and facility setup and maintenance.

You'll also:
Develop and support school systems and procedures (arrival, lunch, dismissal, etc.)

Plan and support family and staff events (report card conferences, clubs showcases, open house, family nights, etc.)

Support scheduling and coverage plans

Support staff and student technology

Maintain and organize building space and materials

Support and backup main office/office manager and Early College Operations

Plan student field trips

Maintain signage and bulletin boards in hallways

Support student enrollment and recruitment

Collaborate with the AD to support student club assignments and systems

Perform other required duties as assigned

Support Early College Operations Team

Act as the advisor to Student Government

Collaborate with the Student Success Team to operationalize culture systems

Back up Early College Operations

Oversee the inventory and sale of Veritas Prep swag and spirit wear

Track supply inventory and restock classrooms and offices as needed

What You'll Need

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Access

Ability to work independently on a variety of tasks

Strong interpersonal and communications skills with students, parents/families, colleagues, and community members

Previous experience in operations (experience in school operations preferred)

Strong attention to detail and follow-through

Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Experience with project planning and management (preferred)

Fluency in Spanish (preferred)

Associate's degree (preferred)
