    Description


    Glen Raven is recruiting for a Protective Sales Manager, which will work with our Protective business unit, supporting the GlenGuard brand of flame resistant fabrics used to make workwear.

    This role is responsible for execution of sales and marketing strategies, resulting in meeting or exceeding our annual revenue and profit goals.

    This role is ideal for an extroverted self-starter who works well with a team and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive in.

    You will directly interact with current and potential customers along with end-user prospects in sales meetings (virtually and in person) and attending various industry trade shows.

    Above all, you will embody Glen Raven's culture and confidently represent the GlenGuard brand as we expand our brand awareness and footprint.

    Develop and maintain professional and trusted relationships with key accounts to ultimately become the "go-to" advisor for flame-resistant fabrics.
    Identify emerging markets to find new sales opportunities.
    Manage key performance metrics including forecasting accuracy, pipeline analysis, and sales revenue goals.
    Understand the technical nuances of our products and tell the GlenGuard story in a meaningful and memorable way.
    Attend key industry trade shows to drive awareness to the GlenGuard brand.
    Work in Microsoft Dynamics CRM to create and maintain opportunities, document insights, and manage administrative tasks.
    Be a proactive problem-solver by cross-functionally investigating issues, preparing reports, and developing solutions with the protective business team.


    Education and Experience:


    This position requires the equivalent of a four-year business degree or commensurate experience.2 years of previous related experience is required, 5 years preferred.

    Strong verbal and written communication.
    Technical knowledge in maintaining and creating content.
    Ability to make effective presentations in front of groups at appropriate level - including trade shows.
    Excellent technical writing skills presented in a clear and concise manner.
    Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
    Comprehensive knowledge of field's policies, procedures, and practices.
