    Job DescriptionSalary: $25 to $35 per hour

    Learning Forward is looking for a qualified individual with 2+ years of marketing and communications experience, or with a Bachelor's degree in marketing or a communications-related field with one year of work experience to become our Digital Marketing Associate. The qualified candidate will need to have a basic understanding of html and SEO practices, be experienced with digital advertising and social media management, must be able to demonstrate a good eye for digital design or have knowledge of graphic design principles, and must have strong communication skills that demonstrate a command of grammar rules for written and verbal communication.

    Job Summary: The Associate / Digital Marketing works closely with SVP of Marketing & Communications to provide marketing & communications support for email marketing, SEO, digital advertising, social media, and webinars.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Email marketing (30%)

    • Work with the marketing and communications teams to coordinate, plan, create, send, and monitor organizational emails.
    • Create graphics as needed.
    • Edit and upload videos to website and social media channels as needed.

    SEO (20%)

    • Collaborate with SVP of Marketing to integrate SEO with other digital marketing initiatives for cohesive campaigns.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive search engine optimization strategies to achieve organizational objectives, including keyword research, SEO audits, traffic analysis, etc.
    • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal content performance.

    Digital/Search engine Advertising (20%)

    • Create and implement digital advertising campaigns for both owned and paid digital channels.
    • Work closely with SVP of Marketing & Communications to design digital advertising collateral, including working with designers across the organization.
    • Coordinate with third-party vendors to implement and monitor digital advertising campaigns.

    Social media (20%)

    • Manage day-to-day messaging, monitoring, and strategic planning of all social media channels to support marketing and organizational objectives.
    • Support other staff in contributing to the organization's social media through scheduling software, templates, etc.
    • Engage with users and respond to posts and messages.
    • Provide feedback from our members and followers to program teams to help shape program strategies.

    Webinars (10%)

    • Act as primary technical lead for webinars, including setting up webinars, registration links, panelist links, and serving as technical support during webinars.

    If selected for this position, the qualified candidate will serve as a member of the Marketing, Communications and Membership teams by participating in consensus decision-making, seeking to continuously improve work processes and methods to increase effectiveness and efficiency, and working in compliance with company staff agreements, employee policies, the annual budget, and office protocols. The person in this position will be expected to exemplify professionalism in all Learning Forward work.

    Some travel (2 to 5 days a year) may be required in early December to attend the annual conference.
