About Dalton House_

Dalton House, a transitional housing program for individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Our mission is to empower residents and support their transition to stable, independent living.

Through comprehensive services such as case management, life skills training, job readiness assistance, and access to community resources, our dedicated team works closely with each resident to develop personalized goals and action plans.

Dalton House staff works to foster a sense of community and organize group activities to promote social interaction and personal growth.

By collaborating with local agencies, organizations, and employers, we also offer job placement and educational opportunities to ensure long-term stability and success.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide direct support and guidance to adolescents.
  • Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized action plans and goals in collaboration with residents.
  • Assist residents in acquiring life skills such as budgeting, job readiness, and problemsolving.
  • Conduct regular checkins with residents to assess their progress and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with the case management team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Facilitate and participate in group activities, workshops, and outings for social and personal development.
  • Serve as a positive role model and mentor, fostering a sense of trust and mutual respect.
  • Provide crisis intervention and deescalation support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of resident interactions and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology with one year experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting.;
  • We will consider applicants with High School diplomas that can show at least three (3) years' experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting.
  • Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Physical & Drug Screening, Criminal Record History, FBI, and Child Abuse History Clearances
