Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
Duties:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Provide safety training to employees on various safety topics
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
- Frequent unexpected job site safety inspections
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Manage workers' compensation claims and returntowork programs
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and improve overall safety performance
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practices
- Experience in construction management and familiarity with construction safety regulations
- Proficiency in OSHA standards and regulations
- Understanding of workers' compensation processes
- Ability to manage compliance with safety laws and regulations
- Familiarity with construction management software for safety reporting
- Knowledge of occupational health principles
- Proficient in risk management techniques
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels
- Understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements
Pay:
$70, $85,500.00 per year

License/Certification:
- Certified Safety Professional (preferred)
- OSHA 30 (preferred)

- Los Angeles, CA 90023: Relocate before starting work (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 75% (preferred)
