Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.


Duties:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
• Provide safety training to employees on various safety topics
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
• Frequent unexpected job site safety inspections
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Manage workers' compensation claims and returntowork programs
• Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and improve overall safety performance

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practices
• Experience in construction management and familiarity with construction safety regulations
• Proficiency in OSHA standards and regulations
• Understanding of workers' compensation processes
• Ability to manage compliance with safety laws and regulations
• Familiarity with construction management software for safety reporting
• Knowledge of occupational health principles
• Proficient in risk management techniques
• Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels
• Understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements

Pay:
$70, $85,500.00 per year

License/Certification:

• Certified Safety Professional (preferred)
• OSHA 30 (preferred)

• Los Angeles, CA 90023: Relocate before starting work (required)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (preferred)
