Electronic products can only be sold in the EU if they comply with the CE marking criteria. A key aspect of this is electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Electronic devices must therefore only cause limited electromagnetic interference and must not be affected by disturbances up to specified levels.

With increasingly higher clock rates, speeds and interfaces, compliance with EMC requirements is becoming more and more demanding.

You will support hardware development in investigating how Vector hardware can be further optimized in terms of EMC.

You will be involved in the conception of the investigation, the creation of test setups, and the independent execution of measurements in our in-house EMC laboratories.

You will work with modern measurement technology and learn all common EMC test procedures used in the Vector network interface sector.

In particular, you will conduct investigations to optimize devices, such as the housing or interface connections.

It is important to us that you get to know working at Vector on site. In order to balance your studies and work, we offer mobile work after individual coordination and depending on the specific task. Please note that pure remote work is not possible.

Your profile:

  • Studying electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable degree program
  • Interest in investigations in the RF field
  • Good German and English skills
