Established boutique law firm in beautiful Thomasville, Georgia seeking a full-time associate to handle family law, corporate law, real estate, and probate matters.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Associate Attorney role located in Thomasville, GA. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice and services, conducting legal research, appearing in court, negotiating contracts, and representing clients in family law, probate, and business law matters. The Associate Attorney will also manage discovery and prepare legal documents. Experience in real estate matters is a plus.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Law
• Proficiency in Georgia Family Law is necessary
• Ability to provide legal advice and research legal issues
• Strong negotiation skills for client representation and contract drafting
• Must be unafraid to appear in court
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Georgia State Bar with active license
• Experience in civil litigation, business law, real estate and probate is a plus
• Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills
