Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team in our pre-litigation department. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our attorneys and assist in various legal tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the legal field and strong organizational skills.


Duties:

• Conduct initial case investigation and gather relevant information for cases
• Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and completeness
• Organize and maintain case files, including drafting demands, ordering medical records, and resolving liens.
• Schedule appointments and meetings for attorneys
• Interview clients and witnesses to gather information relevant to cases
• Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing calendars, and handling correspondence

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Paralegal or similar role for no less than 2 years
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
• Proficient in legal drafting and research techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to speak well on the phone.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Familiarity with FileVine, Microsoft Suite, or similar sofware systems is a plus
• Proficient in data entry and computer skills

Pay:
$35, $55,000.00 per year
