Position Summary:
The Specialist Production Cast Logistics is responsible for the coordination and management of administrative duties required to support smooth operation of all aspects related to production cast logistics and movement including ensuring on-time arrivals to shoreside training and shipboard assignments for all new-hire and returning cast members Additional duties include general administration troubleshooting problem-resolution and production support for the day-to-day operation of Royal Caribbean Productions supporting the shoreside rehearsal and office operations at the Royal Caribbean Entertainment Studios as well as fleetwide shipboard production operation Operates in a multicultural team environment and is expected to work in a collaborative way with leadership and colleagues as well as independently as required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- verifying correct personal data has been provided and completed correctly by onboarding associate Create necessary assignment projection to generate Letter of Employment (LOE) to all Royal Caribbean Production cast members - approx
per year Manage necessary documentation for embassy appointments (ie LOE B1 Letter
C1/D support documentation and any additional supporting letters or documentation as required)
- Provide necessary documentation for nonUS cast members regarding any/all required visas Coordinate Schengen Visa appointments during training period
to ensure proper documentation of US entry in conjunction with Customs and Border Patrol
- Responsible for all travel requests to training facility and assigned vessel(s) for cast members
- Coordinate repatriation travel requests at completion of shipboard employment term
- Work with Global Crew Readiness to identify required itinerarybased visas
- Responsible for processing accurate salary adjustments and/or permanent position code updates for all cast members
- Facilitate shoreside approval process for any cast member shipboard leave requests Manage all Extra Crew Cabin (ECC) requests to support fleetwide yearround cast change operations
- Process contract addendums and early termination documents for all cast members
- Verify accuracy of required cast documentation to facilitate onboarding/hiring process and shipboard embarkation viability
- Facilitate communication regarding secondary background check to ensure compliance for shoreside training
- Coordinate cast member Change of Gateway request and submission process Serve as facilitator for Cast Orientations

Qualifications Knowledge & Skills:
Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited college or university in Theater Business Administration Communications or related field- Experience in the entertainment industry and cruise industry shipboard and/or shoreside a plusExpertise in interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal communication in a multicultural environment with all levels of employees and managementExcellent logical and critical thinking skills coupled with a strong ability to research analyze and form potential solutionsAttention to detail and organizational skills requiredDemonstrate a strong work ethic receptiveness to guidance with an ability to creatively tackle challenges under ambiguous circumstancesHigh level of emotional intelligence
