At Meadowbrook Smiles, we are seeking a Dental Assistant/Treatment Coordinator to collaborate with our team to improve our patient's dental health and smiles in our State-Of-The-Art practice in the Howard/Suamico community.

As part of our team you will:
- Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
- Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the backoffice experience.
- Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
- Develop a relationship with the patient.
- Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history.
- Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist.
- Assist dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested.
- Prepare tables and trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Ensures operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
- Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials.
- Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
- Meet and greet patients with enthusiasm and kindness as our #1 priority
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of insurance benefits and claim procesing
- Manage pateint documents and records with confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and help develop productive schedules
- Manage day to day patient communication
- Coordinate and follow up on treatment plans for patients.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience as Dental Assistant
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- Experience with Eaglesoft dental software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
