- Evaluations, IEP Minutes, Direct consult services, Crisis intervention
- Assisting with SPED Dept.
- Full-Time 32 hours a week
- Will act in a "Social Worker" role with students and families. Previous School experience not required, but pediatric experience (like in a clinic) is highly preferred, if possible
- On site
- Mild to moderate caseload, K-12
- Assisting with case management needs, supporting student needs K-12th grades, counseling support, assisting in communicating with teachers and parents, IEP support.
- Position 1: Day Treatment
- Conducts assessments, testing and diagnostic examinations
- IEPs
- Coordinates with administrators and other teaching staff
- Position 2: Resource Room
- Conducts assessments, testing and diagnostic examinations of students
- Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping
- Encourages parental involvement in students' education
- IEPS
- Master's in social work from an accredited college
- Must hold MI SSW License Cert.
- School-based experience is preferred but not required
