**Group Description**

****Role Summary****

This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor or Team Lead and is responsible for the general and specific job duties as described below:

To exhibit an objective, fair and professional attitude that exemplifies the principles outlined in The MAGNA Employees Charter to maintain a positive and productive workplace.

To follow safety rules of Decostar and work in a manner that is conducive to maintaining a safe and healthful workplace.

Always use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment to set good workplace standards and ensure all employees maintain those standards.

To follow safety rules of Decostar and work in a manner that is conducive to maintaining a safe and healthful workplace including: training of new employees, reporting unsafe acts or conditions and correcting or commending health and safety performance.

Ensure that all accidents or injuries are reported immediately and actively participate in the accident investigation and completion of all open action items.

Ensure that you follow company policies and business objectives in the daily supervision of the operations of the company.

To demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement.

To perform daily cross-functional job assignments as required and per the departments established procedures and work instructions.

****Key Responsibilities****

Receive and load materials for shipment.

Maintain, and organize the warehouse and parts areas.

Monitor location of parts and materials.

Participate in continuous improvement programs and activities.

Report any accident, injury, or near miss to your team leader immediately and report any unsafe work conditions in the workplace.

Strive to meet or exceed departmental performance objectives on a daily basis as directed by the Team Leader (See attached list of Performance Objectives).

Perform all work within the guidelines of the control plan to ensure parts quality and customer satisfaction.

Maintain a clean work area and report any malfunctioning equipment to the Team Leader on a daily basis.

Perform other duties as directed.

****Key Qualifications/Requirements****

Experience in shipping and receiving preferred.

Ability to drive a forklift is required.

Forklift license required

Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated abilities to communicate with other department team members as well as the Decostar management team.

Fluent in English (reading and writing)

High School Diploma or equivalent

****Additional Information****

This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while sitting for up to eight (8) hours on a continuous basis.

This position requires a person to have the ability to stand, walk or climb stairs a minimum of (8) hours on a continuous basis.

This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis and 50 pounds on an infrequent basis.

Good vision at a close distance as well as color acuity is required.

Must be capable of performing a full range of repetitive motion for up to eight (8) hours a day.
