    We have an immediate opportunity on 2nd shift with a solid company in Fountain Inn for a Forklift Driver/Warehouse Associate with strong Forklift experience.

    If you are positive, motivated and reliable, come join our Spherion team

    2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30pm - 1:00am (with possible OT)

    *will train on 1st or 2nd for 1 week

    Pay Rate: $17.50/hour

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong Forklift Operator experience is REQUIRED
    • Solid Shipping/Receiving experience is a MUST
    • Previous Warehouse/Manufacturing experience is a MUST
    • Experience with RF Scanners is a PLUS
    • Must be certified or licensed to operate a forklift and hand truck
    • Must have awareness of and the ability to follow GMP, Food Safety and Associate safety guidelines
    • Must possess basic math and computer skills
    • Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Proficiency in computerized inventory systems (SAP, QAD, SCADA, etc.) is a PLUS
    • Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving procedures
    • Leadership skills
    • Work well in a team environment, and consistently meet deadlines
    • Must be able to lift and push up to 50 pounds
    • Must be able to work periodically in a cold refrigerated environment
    • Must be able to walk throughout the facility, stand, bend, lift, and twist throughout shift

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Must be able to learn the warehousing system, how to stack, utilize the system accurately to assure proper inventory count and location of materials for future production and restacking of pallets
    • Load, unload, and store deliveries in a safe manner following OSHA and company guidelines
    • Observes all safety rules and regulations. Maintains work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to GMP and Safety Guidelines
    • Enter necessary documentation/paperwork of delivery receipts or material handling into the company's computer system
    • Maintain accurate counts of inventory, ensure that all materials are organized and rotated properly to support the Food Safety Program
    • Verify all deliveries/ discrepancies by inspecting materials through physically counting and comparing the amount printed on the delivery receipt. Inspect for potential contamination, damage or rodent activity
    • Identify, address, and notify Team Leader of issues.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • High School diploma or GED required
    • Background and Drug Screenings will be completed

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $17.50 per hour
