    Description

    SCOUTING:

    A PROFESSION WITH A PURPOSE

Since 1910, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) have helped change lives and build future leaders by combining educational activities and the teaching of lifelong values with outdoor adventure and fun Our local council, Crossroads of America Council, headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, serves our members through multiple programs for young people ages 6 to 20.

In addition, thousands of adults in central Indiana volunteer their time to work with Scouting.

And a few lucky people get to work for Scouting as their career with our territory manager position, titled District Executive.

    DISTRICT EXECUTIVE

We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to serve as District Executive to promote Scouting programs in an assigned district in central Indiana.

This is a sales and management entry-level career opportunity that is responsible for recruiting members, raising funds, overseeing programs and activities, and working with volunteers and top community leaders to further Scouting programs in central Indiana.

    TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT = SUCCESS
We know that in order for people to grow and be productive, they need opportunities to learn.

The fact that nearly 100% of our employees receive training each year is a testimony to our commitment to you.

We foster an environment of continuous learning to nurture collective creativity, which benefits both employees and our organization.

We share knowledge, ideas, and experience, creating a workforce that is involved in decision making and an inclusive work environment that ensures the success of Scouting in our community.

    FUN WITH A PURPOSE
Does this sound like work - share a meal with a community leader; learn from a business executive; visit a volunteer at summer camp; or go to an elementary school to talk with kids about becoming Scouts? Whatever your day looks like, we can guarantee it will include a lot of fun If you are driven by hard work and rewarded by having fun and making a difference, becoming a District Executive might be for you

This is work that makes a difference, work that calls one to continual learning and challenge, and work that offers solid compensation, benefits, and advancement.
