The Community Stabilization Supervisor leads and collaborates with professionals to ensure the effective delivery of community stabilization services as a Licensed Mental Health Professional in the Children's Mobile Crisis team.

This position serves children and adolescents in acute crisis, in addition to those diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disorders, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.

The Community Stabilization Supervisor conducts emergency clinical assessments for in accordance with regulations set by Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS).

This position may provide training and guidance to Agency personnel on emergency services and relevant clinical topics.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Virginia LCSW or LPC preferred, Licensed Mental Health Professional required.
  • State Emergency Services certification required.
  • At least two years of clinical experience in providing community stabilization and/or crisisoriented behavioral health services preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License, good driving record, and the ability to provide own transportation.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • May be exposed to allergenic environments from client's homes, including dust, smoke, pet contamination, cleaning supplies, etc.
  • May be exposed to clients with infectious diseases
  • Must be able to drive for long periods of time to travel in and out of the catchment area as needed
  • Must be able to walk distances, climb and descend stairs, maneuver in and out of agency vehicles
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds at times
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License, good driving record and the ability to provide own transportation

SALARY:
$77,070.00


RETIREMENT:
NWCSB participates in Virginia Retirement System.
