Responsibilities and Duties

• Approaches, greets, and offers assistance to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot
• Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and delivers a minimum number of vehicles per month
• Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with dealership policies
• Maintains owner followup system that encourages repeat business and contributes to customer satisfaction
• Maintains a prospect development system
• Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner
• Follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive

Qualifications and Skills

• Able to establish personal sales goals and implement a plan of action to achieve goals
• Computer proficiency
• Good communication skills both oral and written with the ability to effectively communicate via facetoface, phone, or by other means of communication
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to process data and organize it
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
