Aquatic Director Job Posting

Requirements/Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older. Availability is a Seasonal Full-Time. Nights and weekends are required on an as-needed basis from May to September.

3+ years' experience in recreation or related aquatic activity; at least one year of supervisory experience; current lifeguard certifications from an authorized agency; and CPR/First Aid, Water Safety Instructor, and lifeguard certification.

Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check and drug test (includes screening for marijuana)

Aquatics Director Responsibilities:

Customer Service—one of the most critical job duties is direct customer contact. The quality of service you provide to each swimming pool, customers, and staff will directly reflect on the Windsor Recreation Department.
Overseeing swimming pool operations—This includes all aquatic programming, pool events, chemically balancing the aquatic facility's swimming pool, vacuuming the swimming pools, cleaning the pool tiles, cleaning the facility decks, cleaning the facility furniture, cleaning the bathrooms, maintaining the facility's circulation system, and all other aspects of running the facilities.

Facilitate Inservice Days

This involves training other staff members on the policies and procedures.
Hiring: You will assist the Assistant Recreation and Leisure Services Director recruit Lifeguards and staff members for all three pools.
