We are looking for an experienced Logistics Professional with QuickBooks knowledge. This person will be given the opportunity to support logistics, operations, billing, and product management.

*This Role Will Include the Following Responsibilities and Expectations: - Minimum of five years in similar roles

  • MUST have the ability to work in an office five days per week

  • Act as a key resource for the team, i.e., independently seek out answers to questions, take initiative, leverage network of resources to solve problems and proactively cascade knowledge
  • Maintain and update administrative practices, systems and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery
  • Manage competing priorities and provide consistently high levels of support, given heavy workloads, short deadlines, and the need to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion
  • Must be able to create and maintain systems for keeping up on details on multiple projects; providing reminders of things coming up, administrating tasks between parties, creating and maintaining files on various projects

PREFERRED:

  • QuickBooks knowledge is required
  • Experience with logistics and/or importing of goods terminology & processes is required
  • Experience with generating processes is preferred
  • Experience with Quality Assurance documentation is preferred
  • Knowledge of COAs is preferred
*You Will Assist with: - Data entry related to CRM and inventory management

  • Overseeing inventory levels to ensure there is enough inventory for sales
  • Initiating sourcing requests in a timely manner in support of the sales team
  • Alerting management to place purchase orders to vendors and responsible for follow up to logistics to ensure ontime delivery meeting any and all distribution needs
  • Ensuring all packing, shipping and documentation is entered into the system for each purchase or sale
  • Comparing prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order for management to awards contract or place order to bidders.
  • Receiving inventory into Quickbooks
*Processing shipments and suppling Bills of Lading to customers or vendors

  • Invoicing customers and ensuring vendors are receiving payments in a timely manner
  • Consults with Quality to review specifications to ensure correct customer requirements are met.
  • Maintaining digital records and converting physical paperwork to be stored in a digital repository
  • Scheduling and prioritizing inboxes and callbacks
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
