Description
Your tasks:
- Independent development of packaging solutions that consider sustainability, design, and cost, while ensuring process capability and quality (especially for consumer goods)
- Improvement and adaptation of existing packaging (primary, secondary, tertiary)
- Collaboration in teams from different departments to develop and analyze complex packaging concepts for international expansion
- Efficient implementation of the packaging development process along the entire supply chain
- Definition and documentation of packaging specifications
- Expert and trend observer for sustainable and innovative packaging materials, collaboration with suppliers
- Interface function to the departments of product management, marketing, research & development, purchasing, production & assembly, and logistics
Your profile:
- Completed engineering degree in packaging technology
- Several years of solid professional experience in a comparable position, preferably in the technical consumer goods industry
- Interest in and experience with innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, specifically for the technical consumer goods industry
- Knowledge of current EU legislation and sustainability requirements, particularly regarding packaging materials
- Experience in working with international external service providers
- Fluent in English
