- PARTICIPATES IN THE MANAGEMENT OF EMERGENCIES AND HIGH RISKOB/GYN PATIENTS.: Calculates and/or administers medications accurately and timely. Maintains proficiency with unit specific equipment, troubleshoots and reports malfunctions promptly. Accurately triages patient calls. Reviews and triages results of diagnostic tests. contacting patients with results.
- PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE PATIENT CARE ACCORDING TO ORGANIZATIONAL POLICY AND PROTOCOL: Reassess patient condition per policy. Interprets and utilizes clinical data in the plan of care. Assesses patient for risk factors. Recognizes and integrates patient special needs and individualizes care. Adheres to infection control standards specific to patient care. Responds effectively in an emergency situation so that the patient's immediate needs are addressed.
- 2 year / Associate's Degree: RN (Required)
- 4 year / Bachelor's Degree: BSN (Preferred)
- Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- BLS Certification (Required)
- State Registered Nurse License (Required)
- 0 - 1 year Experienced in Phlebotomy, IV's Home care and insurance referrals (Required)
- 2 - 4 years Experience in Fetal Monitoring and interpretation (Required)
