Overview:

New Product Introduction Tech performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.

Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.

Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.


Responsibilities:

• Performs electrical and mechanical assemblies & subassemblies.
• Harness Builds
• Support of engineering prototype builds
• Reads and interprets customer drawings.
• Performs standard testing and trouble shooting.
• Ensures quality standards are met throughout all steps of the assembly process.
• Develops work instructions for new builds to assist with training.
• Develops product inspection reports with each build that include dimensional data and component confirmation.
• Execute inspecting, testing and evaluation of products built.

Experience:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Problem Solving
• Ability to read assembly prints and electrical schematics, and blueprints.
• Knowledge of cable routing, harness configuration, soldering, wiring & crimping standards
• Knowledge of electrical components
• Knowledge of how to use hand tools and power tools.
• Soldering
• Selfdriven / selfdirected
• Detail oriented.

Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour
