The Role:


Entegris is seeking a highly motivated
Systems Engineering Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality and continuous improvement are paramount.

You will be a key player on a dynamic R&D team based in Round Rock, TX, who will lead systems engineering staff responsible for multiple projects driving profitable growth in the company's Materials Solutions division.


What You'll Do:


  • Manage the New Product Development (R&D) funnel from opportunities through concept & feasibility
  • Oversee management of capital projects to expand manufacturing capacity, transition products to high volume manufacturing, or implement continuous improvements to existing products/processes
  • Refine systems engineering processes that cover P&ID generation, flow diagrams, process descriptions, validation and qualification
  • Lead best practices in the use of systems engineering tools such as Visio, AutoCAD, GitHub, Minitab/JMP
  • Lead interaction with field representatives and customers to make certain we are addressing the correct problems
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as R&D, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Legal and Supply Chain to accomplish business objectives

What We Seek:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or similar technical field or related experience is required
  • 35 years of engineering management experience handling multiple projects with a strong understanding of project management principles and software tools
  • Semiconductor industry experience is highly preferred
  • Experience with design transfer to operations and scale up projects
  • Experience developing complex PLC controlled thermofluidic systems
  • Experience with commercial product development
  • Highly analytical in decisionmaking processes yet comfortable dealing with a high degree of ambiguity
  • Experience working in crosscultural environment; prior experience with a multinational company is desirable
  • Accessible by laptop computer and cell phone for occasional use during off hours
  • Be an "Agent of Change" you must be comfortable working with all levels across the organization and must be able to question the status quo and be a strong communicator

Desired Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of demonstrated engineering management experience within a global, multicultural, multilocation organization serving the semiconductor industry
  • A Master's degree in a technical field and/or an MBA is a plus.
  • Tenacity to drive projects to world class performance in a timely manner
  • Professionalism, integrity, and high degree of accountability
  • Speed of project implementation, per specification and under budget
  • Support teams to develop creative solutions to technical problems is essential
  • Strong communication skills up, down, and across the organization with project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership
  • Focus on team success and is accountable for team and individual results
  • Proactively raise concerns and recommend solutions

Pay:
$120, $150,000.00 per year
