JOB SUMMARY:


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Compliance Coordinators primary responsibility is to perform all administrative functions as they relate to station compliance policies and procedures.

Duties of the Compliance Coordinator include, but may not be limited to:

  • Completion of compliance self-audits
  • Creation and oversight of Airport emergency response and location safety plans
  • Location safety advocate (Updating safety boards and assisting with distribution of bulletins and training compliance documents)
  • Reporting of station safety and compliance audit and analysis
  • Completion of CRO investigation responses
  • Completion of Station Meter responses
  • Training instructor led courses for specialized functions
  • Tracking training compliance for web based training
  • Updating safety documents for records or meetings
  • Communicating with key stakeholders of ADA/ACAA compliance for the customer
  • Providing administrative support to training and onboarding events
  • Tracking, investigating and reporting baggage failures
  • Using other technological systems for investigations (Dispatch Systems, Training Systems and Baggage tracking systems)
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent, or equivalent experience required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships with customers and coworkers
  • High level of ownership and accountability.
  • Enthusiastic about aviation industry.
  • Must be able to perform well in highpressure situations
  • Must possess and maintain a valid US state driver's license. (Suspended, expired, revoked or denied licenses are not valid.)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Must beable to clear a United Ground Express background check and a fingerprintbased criminal history check.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain credentials necessary for the position. Positionspecific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal Service clearances.
  • Must beable to pass a preplacement physical abilities test, hearing and vision tests, and drug screen.
  • Must comply with United Ground Express' Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Policy.
  • Previous service related experience helpful (retail, hospitality, etc.)
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Excel, Publisher and Powerpoint Required
  • Must be willing to work where there will be exposure to high noise levels.
  • Must be willing to work in a highpressure, safetysensitive, deadline driven environment.

Essential Physical Functions:


  • The ability to lift up to 70 pounds is necessary.
  • Work schedules will span over a 24/7, 7 day/week operation including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed. Flexible work shifts will be assigned and can include late nights and early mornings.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with United Ground Express' policies are required. Overtime available/required depending upon operational need.

HOURLY RATE:
$19.50.   • Ability to operate a computer to enter and retrieve data
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs on a consistent basis
  • Ability to pass all prescreening clearances (including a background check, hearing and vision tests, and drug screen)
