    THE ROLE


    This role reports to the Director of NTS and interacts with USA Shops and Washracks, senior management, direct reports, internal departments, legal counsel, operating branches, front-line managers, external agents, vendors, and key contacts with current and potential customers.


    A DAY IN THE LIFE
    Developing and growing the profitability of multiple shops in a geographical area;

    Finding continuous improvement in efficiencies to achieve financial targets;

    Leading Service Managers in their area;

    P&L responsibility for their area;

    Assisting shop operations to meet to exceed the service performance requirements of eternal customers;

    Overseeing and regulating the day-to-day operations in their area;

    Developing and preparing operation plans, programs, budgets and forecasts;

    Ensuring the most effective utilization of facilities, equipment and manpower using continuous improvement tools;

    Creating and maintaining positive relations with our customers; and

    Establishing and maintaining the necessary operational systems and procedures and maintain limitations and controls.

    A strategic visionary with commercial skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus.

    A decisive individual who possesses a "big picture" perspective, exhibits sound and accurate judgment and makes timely decisions.

    Identifies and resolves problems proactively and in a timely manner.

    Looks for ways to improve and promote safety, quality, and profitability.

    Proficiency using software in a Windows environment.


    An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.

    Strong negotiation skills.

    Experience with drafting, interpreting, and implementing contracts.

    Delegates work assignments, gives authority to work independently, sets expectations, monitors delegated activities, and holds people accountable.


    REQUIREMENTS
    High School Diploma required, post-secondary education preferred.

    Requires a minimum of five (5) years of management/operations experience in the transportation business.
