Summary of Position

The EC Teacher Assistant is responsible for working closely with the lead teacher to help in creating an exceptional Waldorf Early Childhood experience for our students.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher with the overall rhythm and tasks in the classroom
• Prepare the classroom each day
• Maintain general order, cleanliness and aesthetics in classroom and campus
• Classroom management and supervision of the students, under the direction and guidance from the lead teacher
• Nurture, protect and guide the children through love and warmth

Education, Certifications

• A minimum of 12 ECE units
• Completion of all DSS training and documentation requirements
• Live Scan background screening
• TB clearance
• Pediatric CPR/First Aid certified
• Annual State of CA Mandated Reporter Training
